Infectious Diseases can be defined as a sickness brought on by a pathogen or its toxic by-product and contracted by a susceptible host from an infected person, infected animal, or contaminated inanimate object is known as an infectious disease. Infectious diseases can be viral, bacterial, parasitic or fungal infections. There’s also an exceptional group of infectious diseases known as transmissible spongiform encephalopathies (TSEs).
